Steel Gas Tank Repairs

Body filler is not an option when a tank is liable to take as much abuse as a trials bike may give it, or if it has chromed sides.

This is how your tank may look now:

First stage is to remove all gasoline and vapours and then grind off the weld to remove the entire tank bottom.

Next the dents are beaten out from the inside until the tank is back to its original shape.

Then the bottom is welded back on.

The correct paint, and the tank is as good as new.
