Broken front mudguard. Non standard rear mudguard. All in all badly looked after.

 This is a really wonderful colour scheme.

 

The early SWMs had a frame loop over the rear mudguard. later models just had a mounting on either side. I am sure removing six inches of half inch tube saved a lot of weight.

 New mudguards were a good fit which is more than can be said of a lot of so called "from original" replicas.

 Narrow waisted. A very svelte outline. Note the SWM embossed in the saddle cover, the name appears all over the bike.

Black pinstripe is courtesy of the squirrel who gave up his hair to make the brush that I used.

Unfortunately when the bike was completed the tank decals were not available. Even so the nicely shaped steel tank looks very attractive..
